About Ampwera Deus
Mr.Ampwera Deus is a senior statistical consultant, M&E specialist, data manager & analyst and software engineer with a Bachelors of Statistics Degree (Computing) from Makerere University and a member for Uganda Statistical Society. He has a certificate in Responsible leadership on Transparence and Good Governance from Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI NETWORK), NIH certificate and FHi360 Research Ethics curriculum. Currently He is Pursuing Master of Statistics from Makerere University. He has attained various research ethics certificates and data management and analysis trainings with vast experience in research and statistics. He has been serving as the Statistical Consultant for Center for Social research (2012 up to date) and Data Manager &Analyst for Chrisbert Consult (U) Ltd (2016 up to date).
He has served as Researcher assistant, supervisor, data quality controller/Team leader, Data manager and M & E specialist with various local and international organizations. The organizations include USAID, RTI, World vision Uganda, Save the Children, and Africhild center, FHi360, World Vision Uganda, Child fund, UNICEF, Office of the Prime Minister-Uganda, M&E Associates, Habitat for Humanity International (Uganda) and Building Tomorrow Uganda.
He also has experience in programming data collection tools and managing data CSPRo CAPI, Epidata, SurveyToGo, ODK, Survey CTO, Survey Solutions, Red Cap, nFIELD CAPI and KoBo collect for electronic data collection using smartphone/tablets and Survey Monkey, Excel online and Google Surveys for online data collection. For data analysis, he has experience data analysis using STATA, SPSS, Epinfo, CSPRo, SAS, NVIVO, Dedoose and Atlas.ti. I have also used the M&E tools such as Log framer and Gantt Chart.

Group Member – NAADS Representative of NATIONAL WATER FOR PRODUCTION SUB SECTOR WORKING GROUP from July 2009 – December 2011. This group supported the planning process for water for production utilization, development and promotion in Uganda.
