Joselyne Balijwaha Mupalya is an experienced Administrator with a Bachelor of Business Administration (Mgt.) degree from Ndejje University. She is well equipped with strong managerial and entrepreneurial skills, self-driven, competent and always ready to work in a team. She will work diligently with minimum or no supervision. She is result oriented, trustworthy, obedient, respectful, focused and passionate about her job. She responds to assignments as expected of her to the satisfaction of her superiors. Joselyne has also attained competencies in accounting where she has done a number of assignments including, among others; preparing budgets for company activities, verifying payments, tracking and recording all financial transactions of the company let alone filing and taking custody of all accounting source documents which comprise payment acknowledgment forms, payment vouchers, invoices, receipts etc.
Joselyne is currently working with Chrisbert Consult (U) Ltd as an Accountant. Her work involves preparing and managing payrolls, maintaining financial security by following inter controls, preparing annual financial statements, maintaining accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures. She also reconciles financial discrepancies which she does by collecting and analyzing accounting information, researching, tracking and restoring accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies. She does these activities on a timely basis for the smooth operation and betterment of the company.
Joselyne is equally well equipped with knowledge in data collection, entry and quality control using EPIDATA and CAPI methods. This has enabled her participate in a number of programs under different consultancy firms. These include, but are not limited to;
The Midterm evaluation of a Program under Kaswa ADP for the World Vision. This Study involved evaluating projects in the areas of HIV/Aids, Education, Livelihood Security and Child Sponsorship Management. It was done under Gurik Consult for World Vision – December to January 2011
The Evaluation of Nkozi Disability Project for the World Vision in Nkozi ADP. The Study involved evaluation of Medical care support, sensitization and training of PWDs in PWD Rights, and vocational training extended to Persons with Disabilities in the ADP – August 2009
The Evaluation of the IMAP Project for the World Vision in the districts of Amuru, Gulu, Kitgum and Pader in Northern Uganda. The study was an Evaluation of the program on awareness of Explosive Remnants of War among the children and the general population, the socio-economic rehabilitation and psychosocial support to the survivors of land mines and other unexploded ordinances. It was done under Gurik Consult for World Vision – May 2009.
A Baseline Survey for World Vision on Sponsorship, Education, Water and Sanitation, Food Security and Income generating activities in Koro-Bobi ADP, Gulu District, Northern Uganda. Joselyne managed the quality of data on behalf of Peers Consult for World Vision – August 2009.
Joselyne obtained a Certificate of Proficiency in Insurance COP/19381 from the Insurance Training and Education Trust-Kenya in December 2011. She worked with Insurance Company of East Africa as a Sales Executive in Life and Pensions as well as General departments. Her duties mainly involved selling insurance policies to the target clientele. Joselyne worked as a Test Center Administrator with Cyber Networks Ltd-Sylvan Prometric Center where she was invigilating students for the following International exams;
Testing of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL),
Graduate Record Examinations (GRE) and
Graduate Management Admission Tests (GMAT)
