About Tumuhairwe Boreen

Mr.Tumuhairwe Boreen is a sociologist by profession with a Bachelors degree of Arts (social sciences)-Makerere University. He’s has great background and experience in research development; questionnaire development, proposal writing, field operations, interviewing (both quantitative and qualitative), audio files transcription, ethnography as well as primary stages of data analysis and report writing. This was all attained from his Bachelors course while at the university after his end of year academic research project under the supervision of Dr. Mugere as well as a senior research assistant on the ‘Fresh graduates Kampala project’ conducted by Prof. Margret Frye from Michigan university USA (2018-2020).

He also has gained great skills in field operations such as team management and working as a lead researcher on the UNDP energy Audit (2020) and Vanilla Survey by CRS (2021) respectively while working under Rhamz Intrernational. He has also worked as a market audit trade developer under Brookside (U) Ltd.

He also possesses great skills in data analysis using SPSS, and excellent at operating data collection applications such as ODK, Survey CTO, Kobo Collect among others.
